We are proud to announce that we have signed an international distribution agreement with Coloplast, one of the world’s most innovative and respected wound care companies.

Under the agreement, Coloplast has been given the exclusive rights to distribute our Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) product portfolio in the European Union, Brazil, China and other non-U.S. markets. This will include the extriCARE® NPWT system and associated disposable canisters, NPWT dressings, and other supplies.

Coloplast released the news with its stellar full-year financial report. The story has been covered by the Wall Street Journal, NASDAQ OMX company GlobeNewswire, and various other media outlets.

From Coloplast and Devon Medical:

“Our Wound Care business has grown for three straight quarters, and we’ve now completed the turnaround we initiated a few years back. The deal with Devon is a natural next step in achieving our ambition for sustained growth in this business area,” says Lars Rasmussen from Coloplast.

“We are ecstatic about this strategic move to work with one of the world’s leading wound care companies,” says Chip Ross, president of Devon Medical. “This relationship signals the global need for portable NPWT technology that can cost-effectively treat various types of wounds. We’re proud that our innovative extriCARE® system can serve in this capacity, and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Coloplast.”
